...blamed for Wright's statements? It's come out that one of McCain's advisors made the "whining" statement. They were removed.

Rev. Wright made statements and Obama disengaged himself from Wright as a result.

To this day, people are STILL blaming Obama for what Wright said. Shouldn't McCain be held to the same standard?

Thoughts?

I think this reflects McCain's stance on the economy Gramm apparently was a close friend of McCains for some time.

EDIT: Susi how is saying Wright quating anothers comment on America worse than saying directly from his own lips no quates whatsoever worse than Gramms own statement?

You are comparing Oranges and apples..Obama sat in Wrights church for 20 years, likened him to an uncle ,called him a mentor and coined a book title from one of wrights sermons.Obama professed to know nothing of Wrights rhetoric after 20 years--yet in his OWN words from his(audio) book (Dreams of..) he states otherwise--talking of wrights sermon -speaking the words which contained racist anti white statements..this PROVED Obama flat out lied to the American public. His "denouncement" was nothing more than political expeidiency. McCain does not name his advisors as "mentors" nor liken them to relatives..or follow a theology endorsed by him..as Obama did with black liberation theology and his pledge to the black agenda for 20 years!( refer to tucc.org--clearly list they follow black liberation theology and its mebers pledge to the black agenda--both racist!) TRY AGAIN!!
