In 2007 I was diagnosed with calcific tendinitis in both shoulders. My doctor told me that it looked like rice in my tendons on the x-rays. At that time he had me go to physical therapy for several weeks and it eventually got better. Now it has come back (left arm only) with a vengenance. I am not hurting only in the shoulder area, but also my bicep, elbow, and wrist. The worst place I hurt is under my clavicle bone. My pinkie finger is nurab feeling also. I have a doctor's appt. with the ortho doctor tommorrow, what can I expect? Do cortisone shots help?
