Every time I serve tennis balls, if I hit too hard my shoulder would make a somewhat cracking/popping sound and then it would hurt (around the area where the Glenohumeral joint is at)
the pain subsides in about 5 minutes or so, but the area remains sore for a day or two.
This has happen around 3 times, I'm not exactly sure what is hurt or whether or not I should be concerned. The previous times I cracked/popped my shoulder, it was sore for around 2 days then returned to normal.
*note: i hurt my shoulder (popped it when diving for a ball) around 3-4 months ago, not seriously but I didn't play for around 1 week.
I'm curious to know what it is exactly that's creating the popping/cracking noise.
