just wondering here if they also happened to obtain a c spine MRI too given the neck symptoms? believe me, there are alot of people, me included who have BOTH a c spine issue AND shoulder one too. its just something that given what you stated as how this actually went(the playing out of how this acted/reacted)just could be going on too as part of the more underlying problem? the symptoms you mentioned just really sound more like a possible c spine level of involvement, espescially with the neck and the muscle stuff than shoulder only. the (shoulder)MRI really would not explain the other symptoms really, but a c spine issue added to the mix would. the nerves and muscles up there within the neck and shoulder just have alot of 'play' off one another only becasue all the nerves from that c spine(from about c 5 on?) pretty much either pass thru that shoulder down to the fingers or at least run to or thru part of our shoulders too. you know what i mean? just something i thought you should keep in the back of your mind here as a possible generator too if things cannot be fully explained with the shoulder findihngs alone. its just VERY common to have both actually, and the symptoms of both can tend to mimic each other too. it would not hurt at all to also, once you get to the ortho, or even before if your primary will do this, to also obtain the c spine MRI too just to see if this is also playing any part in your overall problems/symptoms too. just some thoughts that jumped into my head reading how this has been for you and played out with symptoms so far. an DO please keep me posted laura, marcia
