I just booked an appointment to wash, then style/curl my hair two hours before a school banquet. The only problem is that I've heard dirtier hair holds curls better. My hair is long and thick and doesn't hold a curl well so I'm scared that when the stylist washes it then styles it the curls won't hold! Does it matter whether your hair is dirty or clean?
