Should women be allowed to weigh in on controversial calls in sports?

As most of you probably know by now, Jim Joyce of the MLB Umpiring Union took a perfect game away from Detroit's Galarraga last night. It was arguably the worst call in baseball history and deserves to go down as such. I hope Jim Joyce is heckled for the remainder of his career, because his nonchalant attitude exposed his many, many shortcomings as an umpire.

But I don't think girls should be allowed to comment on it. I'm fighting with a female in the baseball category right now. She's weighed in on the call, which I think is outside her boundaries. Women do not play baseball, women do not coach baseball, and women cannot umpire in baseball. Do you agree that this woman should be out looking for bra and panty sales rather than commenting on baseball?

I don't care if she's minstrating right now. Her voice on the baseball forum should be nonexistent.
Jim:

You're in line with what I'm saying. This woman should be giving out directions to the mall, not talking matters of baseball. She should be chatting on the phone about the stitching patterns in her newest bra, not baseball.
