I suppose when I was young I was every bit as dumb as young people are today. but I don't think I was quite so proud of it.
As I get older I see how narrow and selfish most people are in their 20's, and I really wonder why we would leave the fate of the country to people who really don't care about anything but their own little problems.
I am casting a wide net, here, I know. And I know there are some people in that generation who are bright, and concerned about larger issues, but ON AVERAGE, I think my characterization is fair....and I bet a lot of the young people I just described (the bright, concerned ones) would admit that I am right about many of their peers.
All you OLD people out there *(I am all of 47) - what do you think?
