Should we find a way to restructure education?

Does anyone notice how when we look back at school(grammar school, high school and college). We notice how SCHOOL BASICALLY SUCKED!!!???

We all go to school for roughly 16 years of our lives, get some info, take tests, get degrees and then go into an empty workforce and can't find a job. Let alone create something for society that benefits humanity.

Here's what sucks. Point by point.

1. School is boring : Almost everybody here can honestly say they've had at least one class or one teacher that literally made you fall asleep in class.

2. The regurgitation structure is a**backwards!!! : Think about it. We're supposed to learn right? So why do teachers give us info just so we can give it back to them??? Where is the growth in that? Since when does a bird, dog, lion, hyena etc. Give food to their young only to have the babies REGURGITATE it back to the mothers? Information is FOOD for the mind. REGURGITATE?!?

3. We learn things in subjects : Has anyone ever noticed we learn different things in very separate, boxed off, segregated SUBJECTS!!! Why can't we learn different things together as a unit or a concept? Instead of all cut off? Think of a rectangular box that has eight equal sections inside. So technically it's eight separate boxes all cut from each other. That's today's education. What if was more like a tree. There's a trunk, then a a bough, then a branch, then a twig and finally a leaf. Structure education like that. Where everything we learn can and is eventually connected.

4. It should be free : Really, all humans NEED knowledge. Should we really be paying for the acquisition of knowledge? Should we have to take out a loan to acquire information about the world we all exist in? think about it.

Now here's a proposal. A completely different structure where different ideas, base units and concepts are learned.

A. In this type of system school would almost never be boring what so ever. WHY?

B. Because whenever someone brings us information we instead of REGURGITATING it back to them we expand on it. That way we greatly expand our minds. Think of someone throwing you a ball. And you throw it back to them but before you throw it back to them the ball grows slightly. Over time the ball becomes so huge, we both become stronger just to keep throwing it to each other. GROWTH! Today it's like playing catch. We don't grow stronger and the ball is exactly the same size. NO CHANGE. NO GROWTH.

C. Back to the tree analogy. Imagine you went to a school where there is a Base class. What do I mean? The base class is one major concept that has classes under it that are all intertwined.
Example : Art base; within this you have Architecture class, infrastructure class, History of art class, Music class, singing classes, Sacred Geometry class etc.
Math base; Geometry class, Algebra class, History of mathematics class, construction class etc.
Physiology base; different martial arts classes, different sports classes, nutrition class, sexual education class, anatomy class etc.
Now notice how they're intertwined. You can learn the HISTORY of ART or the GEOMETRY of the human body or the anatomical structure of human vocal chords. All of them are linked in some way. I never understood why we couldn't learn the history of singing in society or the science of self defense. Everything in modern education is too separated.

D. It should be free or very cheap somehow. I mean aren't the students of such a school going to be great contributers to future society since they've now learned so many different things? Wouldn't that make the nation as a whole wealthier and happier that by the age of 22 you and I know how to do literally a dozen different things that can actually be applied to everyday life. Why should we go into debt to learn such beneficial skills? Why should we go into debt to learn anything??? Really!!!

I hope you understand where I'm coming from. Basically I'm beginning to understand that school in America basically sucks and we should utilize something better.

So my questions are.

A. Do you agree that the American education system absolutely sucks?
B. Do you think that this would be a good replacement? A system where things are all connected and learned through concepts and class bases. Instead of compartmentalized, regurgitated, separated subjects?

Peace and Thank you.
