speak English or provide a translator? This is a language barrier issue, not a racial issue.
Rationale:
If I buy a cheeseburger from a guy whom barely speaks English and I have a problem with it, I'm out $5.00. If I hire a guy who barely speaks English to paint my house and he does a bad job, I might be out $5,000.00 and if I hired a guy to fix my car but something new is wrong when I pick it up, and the original problem isn't solved, I could be out even more money.
Dealing with someone who struggles with English is fine when everything goes okay. The language barrier only becomes a serious problem if something goes wrong. Our government provides translators, shouldn't businesses be required to provide translators in difficult situations if they don't fully understand English?
