In elementary school the only kind of history they taught me was America's, I learned about it twice in middle school (6th and 8th grade), so why the hell do we have to learn about something that we've been taught about since we were in kindergarten again!? The way I see it learning about the U.S. should be a choice in High School not something we have to do. I mean I'm from Africa for god sakes and I've only learned about that continents history once!
