Should this lady have minded her own business when I was texting?

So I was at Wendy’s today and eating my food just minding my own business and I was texting with my other hand while eating and this older black lady around 49 or so was giving me a weird look and a rude stare so I looked over then just texted and went to my business so she goes to put her tray away and throw her food away and says a nasty comment to me and is serious. She said: “ALRIGHT ENOUGH TEXTING ALREADY! I DON’T KNOW WHY YOU WASTE YOUR TIME AND TEXT AT THE TABLE! JUST EAT YOUR FOOD! IT IS VERY RUDE OF YOU TO TEXT WHILE YOU ARE EATING!” And I said in a assertive way: “Excuse me miss, but you need to but out of my business. Why does it concern you?” and she got very defensive and raised her voice and even grabbed my phone out of my hand like my mom will do and she said: “IM TAKING YOUR PHONE AWAY AND GIVING IT TO THE CASHIER UNTIL YOU CAN SHOW RESPECT WHILE EATING! JUST EAT YOUR LUNCH AND STOP TEXTING! YOU TEENS NOWADAYS ARE AWFUL!” And I said: “Give me my phone back.” And she kept trying to take it away so finally I grabbed it off and went to tell the cashier and reported her for being intrusive but she was already gone and out the door.

So was this lady in any right to get in my business? What would you have done if that happened? Does she have a point that texting and not paying attention to someone is rude?
