I asked this question before but it got barely any answers -_____-!!
I know sometimes they do include middle easterners, but a lot of the time they don't.
When I say Middle easterners, i'm including Egypt. A lot of people think the middle east is a continent, and they know egypt is in africa, so they think egypt isn't a middle eastern country. but this is false. the middle east is a region, not a continent.
Right now in the US, egyptians (north africans) have to say we're caucasian. I'm okay with this, but it still doesn't seem correct.
Though the majority of middle eastern countries are in asia, most of them don't consider themselves asian.
Africa and asia are connected. Egypt is on the top right hand corner of africa, the edge of africa. Part of egypt is in asia (about 20%, the Sinai desert).
The middle eastern countries have around the same climate. And egypt isnt the only country that has deserts.
The only thing egypt has in common with black people is that they are on the same continent/

Middle easterners from every country can have all eye colors, hair textures, skin colors, sometimes hair colors, and we have arabian facial features. If i saw another Middle eastern/arab person, i would know they were arabian. (I would show some pictures but every time I ask a question with links it doesnt show up XD)
We middle easterners share the same food, culture, clothing, custom, music, language, looks, basically everything.
A lot of the time I don't know what to choose for my race. And it's not like i can look at my family and tell, My dads side is 100% egyptian, so their looks vary from pale to dark, all eye colors, all hair textures, some have blondish and red hair, and same thing on my moms side. She's mixed with a lot of different random stuff and egyptian. && when i was little (up until i was about 7 or 8) I had blue eyes, straight hair, and i was paler than an irish girl. Now im an olive/light tannish skin color, curly hair, light brown eyes.
I think it would make everything easier if we had our own category.
Does anyone else agree?!? What are your feelings about this?
Thanks, and sorry for the length x)
