Should the USA turn it's back on California since it does not enforce immigration laws?

That State is saturated with illegals milking the system and has more people living there and not paying taxes than any state in the union. California is no longer an asset to this country and has become a welfare state of entitlements. Neither party could get control of the problem and fix it. I say give it to Mexico and build a barrier on the border with armed military to protect it.
 
Most of California's money comes from agriculture. Without illegal aliens their businesses would not be as profitable.
The businesses pay HUGE amounts of money to Republican and Democratic politicians alike to keep anything from being done about the illegal immigrant "problem" - and the public gets stuck with the bill for the rest.
The only way to stop it is to hit them in the pocketbooks.
Citizens need to start an organized boycott of produce from all farms employing non-citizens.
Just like Cezar Chavez did in the 70's.
