Should the match fixers in cricket be less culpable than the test-cricketer

Md Amir of Pakistan? Is the sentence less or a bit too harsh? Why do we not hear about the Match fixers? Is their crime less punishable?

I wonder, how many of us were not impressionable as an 18 year-old?

Should the match fixers not at least apologize for taking advantage a person whose family is incredibly poor? I mean, at that age how many of us were seen by our extended family as their breadwinner?
I am not condoning what Md Amir did...
