Should the Chrysler 300 Wagon have come to America from Germany?

I would think a moderately priced, good gas mileage (w/o hemi) would have done well in America (unlike the tough Magnum). I think people, especially house wives, would have liked a luxury wagon (the only other alternatives are Audi and Merc)
