I have a 125cc pitbike and the person i bought it from told me the choke never worked since he bought it i was painting my handle bars and figured i would just take off the choke switch which was on the handlebars so i i took it off and cut the chord half way down now i dont know weather the choke plate should be open or closed while riding or when starting, it only starts when the plate is closed does that mean the choke is on or off and it runs fine when the door is open.
