Should the BBC resurrect Adam Adamant ?

It might work, but with Dr Who and Sherlock doing the business, this would be judged as a copy. I'm not sure there's room for all three.

Well, I enjoyed Adam in the sixties, but it would have to be updated to the noughties.

It worked with Dr. Who, so why not?

I have long thought Adam Adamant and The Avengers could be brought back. Something new would be nice, but they're obviously low on stock in the Ideas Shop at the moment.

How odd this is being discussed now. I wasn't born in the 60s but saw something on BBC4 (I think) recently that mentioned this series. Only the other day I thought it would be an excellent theme to revisit and was going to post a thread on it.

As another poster has said, Austin Powers has an identical plot but I quite like the concept and I think it could be interesting.
