Most restaurants give you all the bread you want if you buy a dinner from them. I go to an Italian restaurant that sometimes wants to charge for bread. Last night me and another person got veal parmigiana and 4 pieces of bread 3 times. I noticed on the bill that they wanted a $1 twice for extra bread. So I was charged $2 for bread. My dad never cared much for dinner and my mom said he got all the bread he wanted at a restaurant over 40 years ago with no charge. I didn't say anything about being charged for the bread but no other place I go to charges for it. Should I expect some restaurants to charge for bread or should I get all I want for free?
