Should Queen Elizabeth II's haemorrhoids be a matter of public debate or should...

Since the "condition" you speak of doesn't seem to have much effect on the ability to advise or go about her duties, the Queen should be allowed not to have to disclose the details of her malady.

Therefore, in order to avoid being reported for some stupid, made-up, trumped-up, imaginary reason, I will be very, very careful and reply:

No, Queen Elizabeth II's haemorrhoids should not be a matter of public debate, but should be ignored.

It is an interesting question and raises the point as to which things a monarch has the responsibility to disclose publicly,, and which things they should be allowed to keep a secret. I suppose the true answer is that only things that might affect the monarch's ability to fulfill the duties/functions expected of him/her should, rightfully, be disclosed and judged by the Prime Minister and Parliament.

And, they wonder why they are blocked......!!!!!
