Tea-Party Republicans argue that Socialism is Evil and that America needs to return to Its Colonial Roots, so starting with Wisconsin should all funding for education be cut? Seriously, there is nothing in the US Constitution saying that Education is some sort of sacred right? In Colonial times it was up to individuals or in many cases villages and towns to provide their own education. Many Tea-Partyers already home school their children to keep them from being tainted by evil influences? If people wish to educate their children why shouldn't they pay for it out of their own pockets/ Michelle Bachman has spoken out repeatedly against 'the Nanny State,' so would Wisconsin serve as the future of the US of A? For decades the Republicans have tried to shut down the Department of Education, so why not? Imagine how much money could be cut from the US budget if all funding for Education was ended? Probably enough to start a war against Iran or whoever?
