Should our public schools be more like the military?

Where kids can learn things like honor, dignity, respect and discipline.

These things are sorely lacking in our Country.
Sadly Steve M, there would be some that would.
 
Well not like the military but those things shouldbe instilled in children. I would huess the home would be the best place for children to learn these things..
 
You do know that the Chinese essentially do that, right? In fact, they've been doing it for a while, even more so when they were a greater totalitarian regime.
Frankly, I think the west flushed that stuff out in the 1970-80's. Most ruled it as being inhumane.

Not sure about taking it to military standards, but there definitely should be more emphasis on subject matter and less on these kid's apparently fragile self esteem.
 
and then you can accuse the president of trying to start Nazi America, NO THANKS
the PARENTS need to DO THEIR JOB
THOSE THINGS SHOULD ALL BE TAUGHT BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
