thanks to “GleenB”)? Although they put salt on the main roads, many of the side roads are still very icy. My partner, Katherine had fallen quite a few times within just a few days. So, I had to persuade her to place her mountain bike on consignment and just ride her road bike when the weather improves.

While there are a few sincere net friends, like “GleenB”, whom opted not to answer her question regarding this issue. However, there are certain individuals whom encouraged her. There are much more limitations on a bicycle than a car, especially on the common roads.

yeah just be more cautious than usually.
also try using only one brake to keep in control.

i honestly love to ride when it snows like crazy and it is icy as hell.
i put on my full down hill body guard and full face mask and hit the snow on my bike it is crazy slippery but riding in snow can give you the best experience on how to handle your bike in any condition

just make sure you have the best protection their is and dont ride on the road keep it on the sidewalk.

keep the mountain bike, it is much safer to ride on pavement in those conditions just consider getting a pair of studded snow tires for the bike. They are usually around $60 and up per tire but they are worth it and you will still be able to ride. I dont usually recommend them for ridding on pavement but if you have enough ice or snow built up on the roadway they will be fine.
