Should Nextel phones have Bluetooth?

I just switched to Nextel from Verizon. I had the v600 phone with the Motorola headset and I cannot tell you how nice it is. I was able to speak activate all of my contact without have to pre-record the voice. In other words, I said the name of the contact and it went and found a match. And it was nearly flawless. I can only hope that the Nextel iteration of BT is based on this phone.

For the new Nextel phone I bought the Jabra adapter, and it is junk. Everyone I spoke with kept asking if I was on a speaker phone and saying they could not hear me. I took it back.

The only reason I switched is Nextel has unlimited usage. As well, the Nextel office is saying they are getting BT phones, but get this. I was in Best Buy and the phone rep there said the Motorola rep was recently giving them a demo and said Motorola will be releasing a BT for Nextel in April 2005. Nextel's customer service line and their corporate stores don't even have any information like this...

Go figure!

Thanks for your reply, I use Nextel for my company and have 7 phones but I can no longer wait for Nextel to come out with a Bluetooth phone, so I'll jump ship and loose the direct connect which I hate anyway.
 
put it this way if you spent all you money on a nextel you have no more moey for you bmw what intergrates with a bluetooth phone. if it dont have it now dont hole your breath. and what if your runnig or something and it falls. 100 dollers down the drain. literally. headsets when and made for just your ear fall out sometimes and then what about theft. you sitting on somewhere and they grab it an run then they use it for there phone. really bluetooth is nice and all but only hard core people who like the style can have it. ill get 1 later :)
