Should news anchors be allowed to wear hats?

i'm watching my local news and this lady is wearing some huge beach hat kind of thing and it's very distracting. i dont mind head coverings if it's for religious reasons or whatever, but this hat is really strange-looking. have you ever seen news anchors wearing hats and regardless, do you think they shuold be allowed to?
If the news anchor is reporting outside then that's fine but this is at an indoor news station.
 
That would be distracting. Did you watch the news from the beginning. I'm just wondering if maybe she explained why she was wearing it in the first place. Hopefully there is a good reason. But if it bothers you that much and it continues, you can always call or write to your station and let them know how you feel. You have every right to do that.
 
Yes, they should be able to omg we live once get over it. I think especially in the winter they should be wearing their hats. I'm sorry you don't like her hat but she won't wear it everyday.
