I've never been to an NBA game, but I watch a lot of them, and I am quite concerned about the players' willingness to let loose a few four-letter words, or even the occasional blue streak. This tendency seems even more of problem in the NBA than in other sports because the crowd is so close to the court. Now, I'm no saint and I don't really keep my cussing to a minimum at all times, but I do watch my mouth around children. I have NO idea how any parent who has seen an NBA game before can take their children to see these games, assuming they want to keep their children somewhat shielded from such language until they're older. Seriously, I'd have to bring some earmuffs for my kids, if I ever have any, that is.
What do you think? Should there be a rule in place which limits the use of foul language in NBA games?
