Should my Mazda have rust on it?

I just bought a new 2008 Mazda 3 and I already see that there is a rust color on the muffler. Has anyone else seen this before? Should I be concerned? Thanks for your help!

mufflers are unpainted metal. they will rust no matter what.
if you let your car sit in the rain and don't drive it for a week or so the brake rotors will rust too!
it's all normal!!!

on the muffler? Its normal. it means its been driven in snow and rain often
