I was just watching him inform F1 fans why he had a red helmet. He said that he painted it bright red so that competitors knew it was him behind them....and added, with a smug look, "particularily when i was lapping them!"
Perhaps he should paint the back of his Merc red for Virgin etc, when they are overtaking him.
