Should MEN have ANY say or Criticism in debates and arguments regarding the

issue of ABORTION!? Please answer? I looked up a few abortion debates, and I just noticed a GREAT DEAL of the people who are AGAINST abortion happens to be MEN.

Now I am a MALE myself. But I still support Abortion for a vartiety of reason, my reasoning consists of...
1. Human rights, NOT fetus right, NOT embryo right, NOT cluster of living cell rights, I believe in HUMAN rights.
2. The one getting pregnant is the WOMAN, the WOMAN's body is going through the ordeal, not the neocon inconsiderate men who against it, not the father, it's WOMEN who suffers and goes through ALL of the hardship HERSELF, so why should ANYBODY ELSE, even other neocon women against it, object what ONE PERSON does to their OWN body!?

3. Pregnancy releases all sorts of hormone in a women I think. Also, women undergoes pregnancy goes HORRIBLY out of shape. As a man, I DREAD the fact that if I get a wife and she gets pregnant, she picks up a number of pounds, thus becoming significantly less attractive for me to wake up to every morning, She might even pick up some eating habits. This point is ENTIRELY objective and differ among men.

4. Its a 100% and effective method of BIRTH CONTROL. No, it doesnt prevent STDs or AIDs, but it DOES ensure you can have have sex with NO hassle of protection, and STILL not worry of having a baby to burden you for life.


These are just SOME of the reason I support abortion, and glade that Dr. Morgentaler got that Canada order award thingy.

So the question is.....should MEN have ANY say or any CRITICISMS to the debate for ABORTION!?!?
Abortion has NOTHING to do with the life of any MALE, boyfriend, husband, father, judge etc.
I support it because of human rights and self serving reason.
But should men have ANY say, or atleast any INFLUENCE at all in the debate for ABORTION??

Please give a clear answer with detailed REASONINGS...and reasonable ones too.

Also, I dont believe Abortion is murder...why?? Read the freaking law.
 
Let's imagine that your local amusement park creates a new thrill ride called the Orgasmatron.

Everyone who rides it has the most wonderful experience they can possibly imagine. And as a free bonus, one out of every 20 riders wins a kitten.

People also have the option of riding the Orgasmatron without being considered for winning a kitten. All they have to do is shave their head or paint their face blue.

Despite this option, there are still thousands of people who go on the ride, don't want a kitten, don't shave their head or paint their face to avoid getting one, win the kitten, and then run over it with their car in the parking lot.

How can anyone consider that moral?

If you really don't want a kitten, there are clear methods to take so that you don't get one. If painting your face or shaving your head is too extreme for you and you just can't handle it, there is always the option of not taking the ride at all.

If this was really happening to kittens, animal rights activists would have a field day denouncing the immorality of such brutal and senseless slaughter.

And yet many of those same animal rights activists are the strongest supporters of doing the exact same thing to human embryos the same age after conception as the kittens.

If you don't want a child, either don't have sex or be damn sure that you are using sufficient protection to avoid creating one. Abortion should never be considered an acceptable option.
 
Firstly dont worry about getting married and your wife getting preggas and putting on a few pounds - no one will want to marry you because your stupid moron (your prob really ugly anyway). Of course a woman is going to eat more and put on weight when she has another person living inside her body! You have a very sad way of looking at woman and u need to grow up.
Secondly, of course a man has a say in abortion! Heres a news flash for you all... getting pregnant is not just about a woman.... it takes a guy for it to happen! That embryo, fetus, cluster of living cells is half her, half him! How can someone say that a guy has no rights when he is partly responsible?! It is his baby too! Just because it (the baby) is carried in the the womans body does not make it any more hers than it is his! The genetics are 50/50! I think anyone who doesnt understand this needs a lesson in high school genetics. Obviously a bloke cannot force his partner to have the baby if she doesnt want to but if he wants a child and she doesnt what are they doing together?
Abortion is not a method of birth control. Are you stupid enough to think that a woman would prefer to have an abortion rather than just using a condom?! Yeah bloody right! An abortion can be a deeply scarring experience for a woman and it is somthing that she will remember for the rest of her life. How selfish are you to think women can just go through that cos youd rather go bareback?!
Not only are you never gonna get married, i would be very surprised if any woman ever wanted to have sex with you, you tool. You are a fine example of evolution. The weeds of this society (ie you) do not breed to pass on their genes. Maybe your mother and father should have considered their rights to abortion a little more carefully before bringing you into this world.
 
Well, our opinion counts too, as far as general discussions go, since we're half of the population.

But, if a man wants to stop an abortion, he should wear a condom.

Once he's donated his sperm, the matter is out of his control.
 
the "soon to be child" is half the mans doing as well....why shouldn't he have some say in the matter?
