Should lost boys 2 have been a frog brothers movie ?

After just watching the tribe again i cant help thinking a frog brothers movie would have been the way to go, Cory was the star of the show for me, i would have loved to have seen the brothers back in action, if it done well they could have gone from there,for me the links to the first movie where not strong enough.
 
I did hear that but if the guys scenes from the tribe had to be cut down to one short scene because he was wasted how will he make a whole movie ?
 
The thing that REALLY gets me, is that Cory Haim's last minute re-introduction into the film meant that sober family man Jamieson Newlander's comeback as Alan Frog ended up on the cutting room floor and DVD extras.

Not cool.
 
was Alan Frog going to be in the same role as Haim played at the end?, if not how was he going to fit into the movie ?
 
Yes.. Newlander was going to be the "Master" vampire - leading to a Frog v Frog third film. It's why there's a reference in the film when a vamp says to Edgar "He's not in here.. but your brother is" when they go into the vampire nest near the end - which makes little to no sense in any other context.
