Sooo the regular decision date for Brown is coming up and I've finished writing my major essays.
BUT I just realized that I didn't mention ANYTHING about my "complex" asian background.
You know...the whole moved to America when I was 4 and now I'm unsure of my cultural background yadayadyablahblah spiel. Should I have mentioned this??? Or would that just be boring and cliche?
I mean in some ways I am different from the unfortunate asian sterotype- I want to major in English (not math or science..bleh) and I have not allowed grades and test scores to govern my life...but is that REALLY enough to set me apart? Am I just being way too paranoid?!!!
