Should I write about anorexia for my college essay? Cliche?

OPPS sorry. this essay is meant to answer the question

Why did you choose to apply to UCF?
Here's the start to my essay for UCF answering the question "What qualities or unique characteristics do you possess that would allow you to contribute to the UCF community?".

My stomach let out an enormous growl when the lunch bell rang during fourth period. I felt weak and dizzy as I watched the kids scurry out the door in anticipation. Never before had I experience hunger with such authority. I had not eaten in over five days. Angrily, I whispered to myself that the sounds radiating from my stomach were lies meant to fool me. As I walked pass the lunch room into the library, I reassured myself it would all be worth it in the end once I reached my “ultimate goal”. This would mark the beginning of my three year battle with anorexia nervosa.
When I view the admissions page on the University of Central Florida website, I see the following statement: “…we value dedication to community and individual growth, in addition to academic excellence.” Recovering from anorexia is the most significant journey that I have ever gone through as a human being. Seeing the anxiety on my parents eyes and concern from my doctors are vivid memories that I will never forget. I know now that if it were not for my courage and


I'm suppose to write two statements. The first one is about obstacles which i wrote about my first job. I dont know!
