So, one of my friends is having some issues in her life and she feels the neec to talk about it (to an adult). It's nothing like suicide or anything she could get in trouble for, but sometimes it helps just to have someone to talk to that you can rely on, ya know? Anyway, she keeps expressing to me how she tries to talk to a teacher (who is very reliable, by the way) but she isn't sure how to bring it up, or how to change the topic to more serious things rather than light-hearted conversation.
