Me and a male friend of several years had a falling out (or, rather, he initiated the "falling out" although I did nothing wrong) and he has not talked to me in several months. Due to leading a more active lifestyle (including learning piano and lifting weights, among other things), I am discontinuing my internet service. I led all the people on my contact list (yes, he's still on my list) to my Yahoo address that I will be using at the library every so often, and everyone but him has thus far responded. His friendship had meant a whole lot to me and I thought a lot of him. Should I write him a goodbye letter, saying something along the lines that I wish him well? If so, what should I say? I am thinking about writing something along the lines of, "Silence speaks volumes. I enjoyed the friendship we had and grew to care about you. I wish you much success and happiness."
