for years i've had burning pains in stomach and upper throat it feels like a cold burn in my upper throat just behind my tongue...i've never worried about it but my endoscopy results say that they found some minor inflammation..incidental finding she said...what does this mean...is it because of gastritis? i don't smoke, i don't drink...very little fatty food...no soda, no caffeine...im not over weight...im only 24...what is this? i don't take otc meRAB...i don't feel like food is coming up my throat either...my ears kinda hurt along with it too...should i be concerned?
 
I don't think you should be concerned but it does sound like acid reflux. You might start by taking something like Zantac or Prilosec when you're feeling the burning sensation to see if they help with the problem.
