I am currently in maryland. I plan on moving to new orleans for school. should i move there first before applying or I could take my financial aid status anywhere i decide to move to and should start applying now?
Is FAFSA now mostly electronic transaction? I don't want anything from FAFSA getting lost in the mail. Anyone up to date and know anything about this?
Also, could I acquire more money/loans outside of the free money? Isn't the free money's maximum allowance as much as $5500? That should be good for 1 year's worth of tuition. I'm concerned about the living expenses. I could get a job but they are usually minimum wages. I work as a pizza delivery driver so I can make tips as well, but so I don't get burnt with working while going to school, should I take out a government loan as well and pay it back later? I heard the interest should be low. I just don't know how I can make it is what's making me worry about making a move now.
