should i use oil paint or should i switch to watercolor because i heard oils are toxic?

i keep hearing some ppl say oils are ok to use just dont eat it... and i hear others say dont use it because the solvents used with it are toxic and it has long term effects. AND if i dont use oils then i will probably use watercolor but some of the paints hav cadmium in them like oils and idk if thats too toxic and will have a long term bad effect on my health. HEEELPPP im so confused on what to do!
