I have been taking 20mg of aciphex daily for nearly two months for what I believe is lpr. I was initially prescribed it by my primary care doctor...who said he thought I had reflux. My symptoms include frequent throat clearing, mucous in throat, annoying dry cough, occasional breathing problems/wheezing. I also sometimes have burning in my throat....and early on I had a lot of burping. I have carefully watched my diet and taken the aciphex...and initially there was a lot of improvement in my symptoms. Then, I got a wicked cold and after the cold subsided I found many of my symptoms were back...although not as bad as before starting the meRAB. I have been reading a lot about lpr and it seems a stronger dose is the standard. I want to feel normal again! Does anyone with lpr agree a stronger dose is needed. And, does that mean 20mg twice daily (morning and night). Or the 2 pills once a day? Please help.
