Should I try my own photography business?

I have all the knowledge, skill and business connections to run a photography business but I don't have the start up funds for equipment and small advertising. Should I just scratch this idea and go and get a real job?
 
Dont let anyone make you quash your dreams. Try to find investors, or save up for a few years and go for it.
