Should I try and sue? My car and 1000 others flooded during a concertl?

Our car and 1000 others flooded during a concert. Turns out the organizers knew there was a strong possibility of this but went ahead and held the event anyway. The only exit was impassable by 11:30 am but they didn't tell anyone until after 3 when it was too late It has already been a week and it will be at least another before we can even look at our car. Who is at fault, the radio station that hosted the event, the fairgrounds where it was held, the company that they claim opened a dam? No one is taking responsibility. Should I try and find a lawyer and sue? I am afraid if I take money from the insurance company I will be waiving my right to get anything else. I am not a person to sue but we cant afford a new car. we still owe quite a bit on the one in the flood and cant afford to replace it.
 
I saw that on tv, sorry. If you read your insurance contract, you will see that they have exclusive rights of subrogation (to sue on your behalf) for any damages which the policy pertains to. Usually that's a good thing, they have deeper pockets than you do. The insurance company needs to make amends to you, though, you can force them to place you in the same position you were in before the incident.
