I have an unheated planted tank, and recently I bought 10 neon tetras and 8 pristellas. I know I should have put the new fish in quarantine before adding them into the tank, but I don't have any quarantine tank, so I just added them.
Now I started to notice some white spot on the neon tail and fin. I have white spot medication, but I am afraid that it may harm the plant. Since summer is coming soon, do you think that the parasite would eventually die when the water get warmer? Or do you think my fish will be death before summer starts, if I don't treat the tank now?
