Should I Trade My Pearl for a BB 8700g?

I'm just wondering if I should take the offer of trading my Pearl for a BB 8700g. I like everything about the 8700 except that it doesn't have any of the multimedia functions found in the Pearl.

Is it worth more in price? Is it worth more in functionality (qwerty keyboard) or should I just stick with my Pearl?

The main reason that I'll trade for the bb 8700g is if it's worth more in price. Meaning that if I want to sell it one day, will I get more for it. Thanks in advance for you replies.
 
Yeah, that is true. Though, I'm asking on a general level in terms of price and functionality. I'm not asking which one I'll get the most enjoyment out of.

In general, of the phones themselves, which one would be a better pick? I mean they both can't be equal enough for me just to decide. There has to be some sort of difference between them giving one of them the deciding factor.

I just thought that I'd ask to read about the views of others on this. Thank you for your reply.
