The reason I'm asking this question is I live in Iran, and we don't have Arabs here, but when I talk with Arabs on the internet, I start to hate Islam and to think God is only a cruel being, however, the majority of people in Iran really get along with most of the things Arabs consider so bad. I'm comfortable here, but if I think Arabs are Muslims too, then Islam is really an awful religion. However, if I think Islam is kind of what I see in my country (excluding some of the terrible things the government does only to stay in power) then I think Islam is a beautiful religion. Buttom line, I think what you think of a religion really depends on what type of people you're surrounded with. What do yo think?
