Should I terminate my Verizon service now?

Hi everyone,

I've switched from Verizon to T-mobile recently. I've got the my new phone from T-mobile online store, and ready to activate it. However, since my monthly plan with Verizon starts on the 15th each month (which means my monthly plan for this current month has already started), should I wait until the 15th of next month to activate my service with T-mobile since I have to pay for my last monthly service with Verizon anyways? Because I don't think I'll end up paying less if I terminate my Verizon service now.

Does what I've said above make any sense to you? Or if you have experienced a similar situation before, please let me know how did it work out and if I should wait for a while before I call to activate my new phone.

By the way, I've already done with my 2-year contract. So no worries about the early termination fee.
