I started to try to cultivate a friendship with this chic I met at church. We went out for dinner and she was a half-hour late. Otherwise, it went well. We planned to go to lunch after church but she ditched me by sending a text saying she couldn't make it. I see a pattern developing but I don't know her well enough to know if my observation is correct. All I wanted is friendship and we were very clear about that. If this is how she treats all her friends, I don't know. She doesn't answer the phone when I call, so I am thinking she is either blowing me off or at best is simply unreliable.
