should i talk to her or should i move on?

i go to an all girls school and i like this girl who is in a grade lower than mine. I'm 16 and female and only seen her around this year. she sits in a classroom near my locker at lunch sometimes and i've opened a door for her once. i'm not the type of person who would go up to someone and talk to them, but i want to. i don't know if she likes girls, but i think she might? my friend is always with me though and she doesn't know i like that girl either... my friend is really judgemental so i don't know if i should talk to the girl i like, or wait until i meet someone who likes me back...

advice?
 
well simple if you love ur friend and don't wanna be apart from her don't talk to the girl if you don't give a rat's butt about her then go talk to her
but a word of advice you r in an all girls school and girls talk, gossip and release rumors you don't want that kind of drama at such a young age
