Ok, I'm studying at a college in the middle east.
You know how it is there.
There's an arab girl(probably not muslim, but I'm not sure) who keeps looking and smiling at me.
I've never been sure what that meant(kinda creepy, to be honest).
She has a boyfriend, so I was sure that she's not interested in me.
I'm single, but I'm not interested in a relationship as well. She's also very good looking.
In order to stop those looks, I decided to look back.
Over the weeks, she stopped looking and smiling.
But now I'm afraid she thinks I'm interested in her and that she's interested in me.
Now I look at her without her noticing, but only because she's kind of cute.
The question is, should I talk to her and explain the truth?
I want to tell her that I want to clear up any potential misunderstandings, and how I was confused about her actions.
Thank you.
The reason why I'm hesitant to talk to her is not because of emotional difficulty, but wondering whether it's socially acceptable or not.
We did talk 3 or 4 times, but about other things.
