I'm surprised that my doctor is even giving me the option because I had only had my son via c-section 13 months before I got pregnant with this one, so for the delivery it will be 22 months past c-section. I had an emergency c-section with my son and it was extremely rough on me because they had to get him out so quickly, they cut my muscles a little jagged so it took a lot longer for them to heal, almost all my staples were crooked and so painful to have removed, I hemoraged and lost a lot of blood (don't remember any of my time in the hospital or my son's birth because of it) AND I had a hemotoma where your incision comes back open a little and you gush fluid and have to keep the hole open for weeks to let it drain. So now you see why I'm so afraid of c-sections.. but any how, the reason I had the c-section in the first place is because I developed preeclampsia/toxemia and almost had a stroke over it is what my doctor told my mom and husband and also almost went into a seizuer. If I go with the the V-bac then I have to worry about getting preeclampsia/toxemia again and having to have ANOTHER emergency c-section, I'm liable to have my placenta come loose and bleed very badly, and I'm liable for my incision from my previous c-section to come open. I just don't know what to do. I'm very afraid of the c-section just because I've had such a bad experience with mine, however I've heard a lot of people say a scheduled one isn't so bad on you. I just need opinions on what others would do because I'm scared out of my mind either way =(
