I went to the doctor today for ear issues (popping when I swallow, ringing, aches) and he prescribed me a 7 day course of prednisone and some amoxcillin. I am currently taking doxycycline for a prostate infection/epididymitis and I did not mention that to the doctor. I know prednisone can weaken the immune system so I am hesitant to take it and make my prostatitis worse. Is it safe to take?
Should I take the medicine I was prescribed?
