Should i take the cat converter off my Jeep?

So I have a 1997 Jeep Cherokee and i just recently put a Flowmaster 40 series on it. Well it sounds good but its not as loud as i was hoping so im wondering if it would be a good idea to cut out the cat and just weld in some pipe. Would it sound good or would it just sound loud and shitty?
 
no it would just be another loud and annoying vehicle like these other damn redneck trucks around here with straight pipes and no cat that are so fucking loud it'll ruin a good conversation when they pass by and besides its illegal
 
if you take them off youll blow flames out the tail pipe and ruin your expensive exaust, replace them with high flow cats and keep it legal
