Should I take Tap dance lessons?

The reason I ask because I been told by some that it's something I don't want to do. But I really love the dance so I wanted to learn it. And also I was wondering if you enjoy tap dancing, that is if you had experience doing it?. Any tips for me if I do take tap lessons...
 
Babe put some sand on a hard wood floor put on your metal tip shoes and get those toes taping & sliding to some old style banjo music I`v only got one left leg now so I tap siting down with my chillum ! Tap tap I can feel a slow rush coming on tappty tap a little more sand now yow .
